Adnan Celebi, our Turkish friend whom we met in Tashkent, lives in Izmir. Unfortunately we were unable to properly catch up,but Adnan very kindly came to the bus station in Izmir to see us while we waited for our bus to Canakkale. It was great to catch up. 12 years ago I was at Adnan's wedding in Izmir. Turkish Airlines lost my luggage and I was then kitted out my the cousin of a taxi driver but once more that is another story.
