A bonus at Troy

Most guidebooks disparage the ruins of Troy. We really enjoyed it, so what would they know? It is a perfect size to too see with children, and also has the bonus of interesting wildlife. We saw a couple of snakes, as well as squirrels and other wee beasties.

The city was not huge, but the position at the mouth of Dardanelles, and the history make it a special place.
