Fishermen of note

On our first night, the boys went fishing with little hand lines. The first few attempts were unsuccessful, but the enthusiasm did not diminish. It was decided that bread was not working as bait, so some chicken was procured from the galley. Within minutes of the change of bait, first Gilleasbuig and then Lachlan pulled in huge puffer fish each.

The crew told us the fish had poisonous spines so we were very careful in removing the hooks. The crew also said that they are "cannibal fish" so we were not allowed to throw them back but instead had to let them die first and then throw them back. When we get back we will ask Uncle Anthony to help us with identification.
