Antalya, and we meet Hadrian again

We first met the Emperor Hadrian in Jerash, Syria, where there was a victory arch built in honour of his visit.

We then saw him again in Adana in south-east Turkey where he had a bridge built in his name.

Now here in Antalya, in the old city there is an arch, built to honour his visit.

For the sake of symmetry we should finish our trip in Wallsend in Newcastle.

Antalya is a beautiful old city and we have had a couple of days of down-time, buying new clothes and footwear, catching up on admin., and letting Morag do her hair.
